Problem with DropBox

In an earlier blog entry the use of the public folder within a dropbox account was discussed as a way of hosting a website. Dropbox is a fanatastic tool, it provides an easy and free way of moving a site if you are happy to have static content. So for rescuing a site this is a great tool.


I have found a few problems, which is not surprising as it is being used in a way it was not designed for,
- You can add google analytics to it, but it is difficult to (I have found a way yet) of adding a Webmaster profile to it though.
-Similar problem with Bing Webmaster toolbox you can add a profile but not a sitemap. So it will allow verification of the site through meta-tags.

The best free tools for website sustainability.
